Warsow or War§ow (meaning Warsow is Art of Respect and Sportmanship Over the Web, formerly Wariors of Alternate Reality Slaughter Over the Web) is a First Person Shooter game with a no compromise futuristic athmosphere, especially developed to meet the hardcore games expectations.

It is available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X, on the sur le official site.

Each weapon has two firing modes, a normal one and a more powerful one. The graphics are very cartoon-like due to the cell-shading rendering, mixing dark and flashy textures.

The game stands out from hyper-realism of other games like Arma2, Call of Duty… by adopting cartoon-like cell-shading rendering which is here really beautiful.

In Warsow, emphasis is put on the player’s speed and skills. You need to know how to sidestep, feint, jump, even before knowing how to shoot right. You need to master the techniques by training to reach the highest level.
